Kupid's 3.7 rests on the media signal. Both paid plans include weekly allowances: Pro has 25 photos, 8 videos and 12 voice minutes, and Ultra has 75, 25 and 35. Reddit users praise how natural the voice messages sound.

The pricing signal is its biggest problem. Billing is weekly at $12.99 (Pro) or $24.99 (Ultra), which annualises to an eye-watering amount unless you take the yearly option (about $3.44 or $5.75 a week). The vendor's 'One payment, nothing renews' claim is something we couldn't verify independently.
